The Lady Victoria Georgette Silk Scarf is part of the wider collection, My Granny's Garden and is inspired by childhood trips to County Clare, in the West of Ireland.
It features delicate botanicals, including the wild Irish Rose, representing the strength and resilience of Irish women, both past and present. This silk treasure also features the peacock butterfly, a frequent visitor to Ireland.
As we are living through unprecedented times of change - this collection is reminiscent a simpler, slower stage of life. Purple was selected as the colour speaks of elegance, refinement, and luxury, too.
This piece can be worn in a multitude of ways including; silk bandana, silk head wrap, silk face covering or as a silk neck tie.
All illustrations that appear on this piece are hand drawn, imagined from my Dublin 8 studio.
