Woman in zodiac silk scarf on holiday

Dubbed the "IT" accessory by the trendsetters at Irish Tatler - don't miss out on the Zodiac Scarf featuring in Trudy Feenane's latest article. Check it out here:

"We’ve coined silk scarves the it-accessory of late because of its reinvention appeal: tie it as a bandeau, wear it as a neckerchief, or sling it through the straps of your handbag. Irish designer Georgina O’Hanlon’s silk scarves are a coveted example, and it's her art-meets-fashion edge that makes them all the better. Formerly the lead graphic designer at Kildare Village, O’Hanlon’s namesake label – launched in 2022 – offers kaleidoscope and artful prints, like this zodiac silk scarf. Every design is hand-drawn by O’Hanlon, printed in Ireland, and produced by silk mastercrafters in Italy."

In this month's feature, keep an eye out for journalist Katie Byrne as she includes my Josephine scarf in her weekend Hitlist for the Independent.

After years working as a graphic designer for Kildare Village, Georgina O'Hanlon took a leap of faith and opened her own studio in Dublin 8. She went on to launch her eponymous brand in May 2022, focusing on luxury silk scarves adorned with hand-drawn illustrations inspired by the Irish landscape, as well as fine art prints. Vibrantly coloured and beautifully detailed, her scarves (from €98) are timeless accessories that will add the finishing touch to just about any outfit. They make for the perfect gift too.
