Fiáin, pronounced (fee-en) means wild In Irish.

This artwork is part of the wider collection, My Granny's Garden, inspired by childhood trips to Co. Clare, in with my Mother, Josephine.

Featuring Peacock Butterflies, often seen fluttering delicately throughout Ireland and the wild Irish Rose, a nod to the resilience of Irish women, both past and present. 

All illustrations that appear on this piece are hand drawn, imagined from my Dublin 8 studio.
